Mount Surprise
And what a surprise it is!!! The Bedrock Village where we are staying is amazing. Our unit is so clean and modern and air conditioned. The owners here have an awesome place. From the camp kitchen to all mod cons.Last night we paid $16 for tea. King salmon, veggies, salad, and fruit platter.all cooked outside by the chef. today we went to Copperfield Gorge. It was beautiful and hard work walking through the gorge. We bought some very beautiful gems here. All are from this area and polished and turned into ornaments or jewellery. 2nite we are having another feed here then they have a singalong around the massive campfire.2moro we head off to the caves and Lava tubes.Have been told it's awesome. Then we head to Tinaroo, gonna catch up with russell and sal and hopefully get some redclaws and more barra. Our outback adventure is quickly closing in on us.You really need months to see this area.We are so glad we got to see our beautiful country as it is now,cos from the road works going on, The Savannah Way will be all tarred by the time we get up here again, all the crossings will be bridged. The grey nomads are funny and friendly.Everyone has a story to tell. I guess we are in for a new windscreen when we get home. we seem to add a new chip or crack every 2nd day. Bloody trailers and dirt roads dont mix. Thanx Min for uploading the pix for us xoxo.
